Spain is one of the largest forex markets in the European Union. The Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV) oversees all investment services in Spain, including forex brokers. As an EU member, Spain follows ESMA regulations which cap retail leverage at 1:30 on major currency pairs.
